Weddings and Functions
Strathavon have been hosting weddings since
the 1930's with current management having had
25 years experience in wedding receptions and
functions and offer guests total support and guidance.
The magnificent heritage property has a reputation
for providing weddings of a high standard with
management placing emphasis on creating an atmosphere
to personalise the preferences of each individual
couple.
Our wedding planner consists of advice on photographers,
cake makers, health and beauty, flowers, decor,
floor plans, table and seating allocation, menu
options and entertainment. Our elegant dining
room has seating for up to 150 people and allocates
a reception time frame of 6 hours and family and
friends are offered overnight accommodation allowing
extended time for celebrations during breakfast
with the opening of wedding gifts.
If you are not planning a Church service you
are welcome to be married in our gardens or by
the river and in the event of wet weather this
can be transferred to the magnificent ball room.
Wedding Packages on offer include Traditional,
Casual, Theme Scene, Twilight Cocktail Weddings
and Romantic 2nd Marriages.
"Strath" also caters for - Seniors
Coach Group Luncheons, Birthday Celebrations,
Family Reunions, School Formals, Retirement Dinners,
Anniversaries or Company staff parties.
